Woodland Grange Conference Centre, Leamington SpaThe Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Energy Medicine - ACPEM - can finally confirm the highly anticipated details of our forthcoming Spring Conference, which is to be called Thanks For The Memories!

The very special 2006 conference will be held at the Woodland Grange Conference Centre, Leamington Spa (pictured right), taking place over the weekend of Friday April 7 - Sunday April 9.

The conference is geared to explore the evidence of how body memory is accessed through therapeutic intervention.


Full Weekend Programme:

Friday 7 April:

  • 7.00pm: Dinner
  • 8.30pm:Body Memory: 'Weird or Mad?' - Discussion lead by Richard Harries MCSP.
    Saturday 8 April:
  • 8.30am: Registration
  • 9.00am: Remembering Wholeness: The Subtle Energetic Perspective -     Lecture & Workshop - lead by Jack Angelo - includes a half-an-hour coffee break.
  • 12.30pm: Lunch
  • 2.00pm: An Introduction to Body Psychotherapy with Particular Emphasis on its Energetic Underpinnings - Lecture & Workshop - lead by John Waterson & The Chiron Centre.
  • 3.30pm: Coffee Break
  • 4.00pm: Body Memories and Spinal Tension - Traumatic Origin and Resolution - Lecture - lead by Melvyn Foey.
  • 5.00pm: Finish/Network
  • 7.00pm: Dinner
  • 9.00pm: Optional Meditation - Atlantis & Angel Meditation

    Sunday 9 April:
  • 8.30am: Registration
  • 9.00am: Myofascial Release - ‘From Fixer to Facilitator’ - Lecture & Workshop - lead by Stuart Robinson MCSP - includes a half-an-hour coffee break.

  • 2.00pm: Is There Any Proof Out There? - Research in Progress - lead by Vivien Nichols and Ann Childs.
  • 3.00pm: Post AGM Meeting - 'ACPEM - The Way Forward'
