AN EXPLORATION OF THE EVIDENCE BASE IN ENERGY MEDICINE: THE IMPLICATIONS FOR THERAPEUTIC PRACTICE AND FUTURE RESEARCH

Woodland Grange Conference Centre, Leamington SpaThe Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Energy Medicine - ACPEM - can finally confirm the highly anticipated details of our forthcoming Spring Conference.

The conference for 2007 will be held at the Woodland Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, (pictured right), taking place over the weekend of Friday March 30th - Sunday April 1st.

James Oschman has agreed to teach and inspire us for a day at our next conference.

He is our scientific consultant and world acclaimed scientist, lecturer and author.  A person who can help us put the evidence base of energy medicine into physiotherapy understanding and practice. See  http://www.energyresearch.us

On the following day speakers will continue the theme of deepening our understanding and evidence of energetic principles combined with practical experience and workshops.


Full Weekend Programme Which Took Place:

  • Saturday 31 March:
  • 8.30am: Registration
  • 9.00am: The Evidence Base for Energy Medicine - Day lecture/workshop - lead by James Oschman
  • 5.00pm: ACPEM AGM followed by post AGM meeting.
  • 7.30pm: Dinner (followed by optional social event)

    Sunday 9 April:
  • 9.00am: 'Evidence for Entangled Minds: Implications for patient/therapist interaction.' - Lecture lead by Bob Charman FCSP, DipTP, MCSP, Hon Life President of ACPEM
  • 10.30am: Coffee
  • 11.00am: 'QiGong and Research' - lead by Mike Craske
  • 12.30pm: Lunch
  • 2.00pm: 'The Value Of Research into Healing' - lead by Hilary Watt
  • 3.30pm: Coffee with a discussion on 'How can we facilitate research.'
